09/25/2022 I took Edda into training yesterday at my vets. Since my trainer is a vet, we also weighed and she said underweight. Actually our dogs can be ribby and came in at 60lbs. But this litter will be full siblings to my last litter. The sables when they were born, were the bigger dogs. BUT if you collar and rotate, the sables were bigger but the black and tans came in much taller!
These are littermates from last litter and will be full sibling to this lietter.I have Edda which is the black and tan and her littermate brother on the other side. They gained their cgc tkn at 6 months old
Edda taken today. We went to training yesterday. But black and tans were smaller at birth but they tend to be taller.
When I say I make a breeder's diary I mean it. I don't have a hard time whatsoever selling puppies but for a reason. Tonight I uploaded to youtube. So here here is the thing I find most new breeders miss. This Litter will be between $1,800-2,000 depends on litter size. Can I get away with more, probably but I stick to my guns. What new breeders miss and I am an established breeder with excellent reputation and will shoot you down in a heartbeat. But as I was preparing dog's dinner tonight, my husband was frustrated. Why are you videoing? I said I am selling puppies. From a owner standpoint? What makes you different than any other breeder? You won't break even if you compete on price and I don't compete on price. Most folks need to look trough the eyes of an owner and I promise been vetted by many. More importantly? I look at as though "Would I buy from me?" What would I want to see. Am I projecting? Of course! My professional name is Ronda Janie Jurkiewicz, CPA, MBA. I gravitate people like me. and was a partner.
But let me cut to the quick. The health testing, the titles the papers, THE REPUTATION, is important. People see people like me making that money and they think I don't need that stuff but I will make that money. Moreover they don't realize the expense on a litter directly and we take it to the max. You buy a pup from us we include supplies, we include chipping with registration, and we are second. We don't do our own shots. I do not stick needles into dogs I get a vet to do that. But if you ever wanted to see a true breeder's diary you are looking at one. I have been applying for jobs and will go back to public accounting and talked to a recruiter yesterday and I may still have that job. BUT I said out of town Oct 4-7. Sorry.
In short, the day your life revolves around dogs, whether me taking Edda to training at 10 am. Lucy goes next Friday for progesterone and on Monday follow. Taking Lucy to blessing of the animals. Judging cat in December. Updating all websites and I make AKC Bred with Heart, you know a breeder when you see one. I guess my long winded way of saying?
Breeding isn't easy. You have to have an unmistakeable passion (lost your mind) to make it work!
Since the same stud. Pedigree of the litter will be the same as my Edda. So for more information and I kept track. This will be a quick post. Getting back into the habit.
09/23/2022 Breeders Diary- Lucy Litter Epsilon. I'll change the banner to a professional one when it gets closer to time. Lucy started heat yesterday. I talked to the vet about progesterone testing and he told me today that lets do in a week and every 2 days. Lucy will be ready stand on Oct 4th. I opted to go to blogger because given an election year? Facebook's algorithms can super sensitive over the dumbest of things to be honest. We usually have about 12 days. I talked to the stud owner from last litter and it was a "God has spoken" situation. The stud owner runs a lure coursing company and road warrior but just so happens home.
Blood spots detected yesterday morning.

09/23/2022 339pm. Got off the phone with the vets. I scheduled Lucy's first progestersone test at 10 am next Friday. A week from today. so technically a week. But we are doing a baseline. We will do another probably the following monday it takes a day to get back. Either way the earliest I can have availability to Titan is Oct 3. My friend will be getting off the road doing AKC events. But she and I both "know the drill" Also on a different note. I talked to my friend who got a pup from Michigan. This is not my puppy. But I suggested a puppy set up and we make it mandatory with our dogs for an exercise pen and she said "OH MY GOD, THANK YOU" With our litters we include in price an exercise pen. I promise I know what I am doing on handling a puppy!

Pink collar is my pick of litter. I promise I will catch up but this is the prelim scores
Purple, Tan, Emerald Green and Pink are selected (I matched to owner). I have two other depositors but those would not have been my selection for them. Besides Purple the balance was ALOT of dog. We have two owners coming this weekend to select as well. They are similar in circumstance and prey/energy but we have lots to choose from.
I am slowly uploading the video of the volhards and will take forever but I will get there. Remaining are, Yellow black and tan male, Lime green sable male, blue collar black and tan male, red collar sable male, brown collar black and tan male, orange collar black and tan male. Really liking the black and tans for my other two depositors. Not on the coat color nec but temperament. Red collar hasn't been tested yet. He had a fear period earlier than normal so I opted not to test him until that is done. We have shots on Wednesday.

I also, registered Eda (Medusa's Vendetta of Cerberus) Pink collar and put her in pedigree database. Here is what the pedigree of this litter looks like. They get chipped on the 19th, once chipped and scanned will put that in as well.
